• Extension of Metro Rail route will now link to Old Gurgaon i.e., ‘HUDA City Center’ to ‘Dwarka’ via Subhash Chowk, ‘Honda Chowk’ , Sector 10, 10A, , 9 ,9A – ESI Hospital, the Chowk of Sector 4 & 5 (Covering the area of Railway station & adjoining area) & Sector 23 of Old Gurgaon. The Haryana Government has sought for its feasibility report.
• Rewari-Rohtak CNG Train (the first CNG train) was dedicated to the people by the Railway Minister.
• The acquisition proceedings /award of 3664 acres of land by the State Government belonging to 16 villages in Bawal have been cancelled bringing lots of joys to many farmers of the area.
• Ministry of Railway has approved for the Survey for the extension of 65 km Railway line from Farukhnagar to Charkhi Dadri via Jhajhar in the Rail budget 2015-16.
• The Double Phatak in Rewari has been approved by the Railway Ministry which was a long pending demand of people of the area.
• 900 meter issue: Have been taking up this issue with officials of Ministry of Defence to reduce the limit of 900m. Now, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has also engaged themselves to provide a lasting solution to this problem which would benefit lakhs of people of this area & make life easy for those people, who live near depot at Gurgaon.
• New Honda Chowk flyover on NH-8 is approved now and soil testing work has started.
• Have been pursuing the issue of ‘One rank One Pension’ with MoD officials for concrete & conclusive action. Ministry of Defence is now consulting the Finance Ministry in this matter.
• Continuously pursuing for universal enrolment under ‘Aadhaar Scheme’. Total 82.93 Crore Aadhaar cards have been generated as on April 30, 2015. Our Government has already started linking many subsidy & welfare schemes with the Aadhaar cards of the people.
• Mewat will have a Women’s College in the memory of Late Lieutenant Kiran Shekhawat.
• Undertook on the spot visit to NH-8 with Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari in July 2014 from Gurgaon to Panchgaon Chowk & assessed the difficulties of commuters on this route. 3 Underpasses in Gurgaon i.e., at Rajiv Chowk, IFFCO Chowk & Signature Tower were approved on that inspection day. Haryana Government has also now made the necessary budgetary provision for these projects.
• Monitoring the progress of KMP Expressway (Kundli-Manesar-palwal) Project. Work is going to be started soon.
• Information Management and Analysis Centre (IMAC) has been put in operation at Gurgaon, serving as the nerve centre of the Navy for coastal surveillance.
• Have been closely pursuing the completion of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Delhi-Mumbai with the concerned officials for timely completion.
