Union Minister Shri Rao Inderjit Singh raised the demand of Gurgaon Development Authority for the overall development of Gurugram. He said that about 60 per cent of the revenue of Haryana is deposited under the fund of Village District Haryana, in such a situation, the constitution of Gurgaon and Development Authority is necessary for the overall development of Gurgaon. Shri Rao Inderjit Singh fought for this demand for about 15 years. Ultimately his long pending demand was accepted by the Bharatiya Janata Party government and GMDA was established for the overall development of the program.
